We are getting ready to launch the 2019 edition of the Best of Las Vegas. This will be the 38th edition of one of the most popular and sought-after honors in North America!
You have been identified as a key member of the team that will come in contact with sensitive information prior to making the information public. To ensure the integrity of the contest, prior, during and after nominations and voting and prior to the announcement and publication of the Magazine, you are required to read, review and agree to the following Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
As an employee of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, you will be provided with advance information regarding the winning status of your accounts. To talk with you about this, we need you to read, understand and agree to the following:
You understand and agree that you will use reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality of the information and materials, whether oral, written or in any form whatsoever, of the other that may be reasonably understood, from legends, the nature of such information itself and/or the circumstances of such information’s disclosure, to be confidential and/or proprietary thereto or to third parties to which either of them owes a duty of nondisclosure (collectively, “Confidential Information”).
Confidential information includes but is not limited to the advertising schedule of the advertiser with specific regards to digital and print schedules purchased in an effort to compete in the Best of Las Vegas contest. This also covers any subsequent purchase to qualify for the rights to use the logo. Any rates earned, discounted, packaged, bundled or offered outside the published rates at https://www.shopbestoflasvegas.com.
As results are cataloged and prepared for engagement, you may be made aware of the win status of an individual company or parent company. You understand and agree as follows:
The results shared with you are confidential and may not be made public until October 13, 2019.
You agree that results may not be published or promoted in any way prior to October 13, 2019, including but not limited to websites, social media, word of mouth, advertising, fliers, email, general staff announcements, and any other dissemination thereof.
The purpose of our disclosure to you about the status is to allow you proper time to create advertising and marketing materials, obtain creative assets, and help your advertiser plan their own announcements.
You understand and agree that you will only disclose winner status to your account using the instructions that will be provided after voting has been tallied and win levels determined.
Failure to keep the results confidential will result in immediate forfeiture and disqualification of the business and any parent company in the contest.
This agreement survives any separation from the company and will remain in force until October 13, 2019.
